Sir, I am an existing service tax payee but when I tried to migrate to gst I got an error which stated RC is cancelled and hence cannot migrate to GST.
I emailed the helpdesk and they said if provisional id is cancelled or you are unable to migrate, please register newly. I filled the new application and got trn but its asking me all details like why i'm registering, when did I cross threshold limit, date of commencement of business etc. Please advise if new registration is the right option.
