  3. Plain terrain : States with dense populations include those with rich, fertile soil, abundant rainfall, and moderate climates like Kerala and Uttar Pradesh.

  4. Economical factors: Areas with plenty of opportunities for establishing businesses and industries tend to become heavily populated. These places can grow extremely congested with effective trade, transportation, and communication.

  5. Political factors: Over time, states that provide security, peace, and stability also grow highly dense.
