Now, let’s check all 4 options - 

  • For A - Light doesn’t bend when light passes from air to glass, and it also doesn’t bend when light passes from glass to air. So, A is not true

  • For B - Light bends towards the normal when light passes from air to glass, and it bends away from normal when light passes from glass to air. So, B is the correct answer

  • For C - Light doesn’t bend when light passes from air to glass. So, C is not true

  • For D - Light bends towards the normal when light passes from air to glass but it doesn’t bend when light passes from glass to air. So, D is not true


So, the correct answer is (b)
