    Given

                a=3, n= 8, S= 192

                 Now, as we know 

                  S=a+(n-1)d

               Therefore, S= 3+(8-1)d

                         =>192=3+7d

                         =>192-3=7d

                         =>189=7d

                         =>d= 189÷7

                         =>d=27

    Therefore, required d is 27.
