    at the time of accepting the cheqe what should we chek out?

    • Ensure there is no overwriting on the cheque or cheque may get rejected by bank
    • If TDS deducted by party,it shou while making cheque lt should  be as per TDS Law
    • First of all check Party  ledger to find out Amount due .Ensure that cheque amount matches with amount due
    • If Advance received,match whether it is as per Agreeement
    • Check date on cheque (It should not be expired cheque,in india cheque expires in 3 months)
    • Check whether there is no spelling mistake in Payee's name(Our name)
