Mean or Arithmetic Mean : The mean or Arithmetic Mean can be defined as the ratio of 'Total sum of the quantities' with that of 'Number of quantities'.
That is in other terms we can simply write it as,
Mean/Arithmetic\ Mean =\frac{Sum\ of\ the\ values}{Number\ of\ values}
Or,
M=\frac{T}{n}
Here,
Mean/ Arithmetic Mean (M), is the required value if the Mean.
Sum of Value, (T), is the Total sum of all the quantities we want to calculate the mean value of.
And,
n is the Number of value of which we want to find the mean of.
