exams is necessary because of following reasons:-
we are living in the largest democracy of the country and democracy runs on the theme of equality before the law.
if suppose we don't have any standard of analysing the capability of a person then we would be partial in alloting the jobs and hence neglecting the efficiency and crediblity of the post.
exams are necessary to find out the best talent among the group of students so that a country's scarce resources should be applied to the most talented students hence promoting research and department .example -- we have iits,aiims ,iims for this purpose in the country .
