Hi Respected Team! I couldn't understand as how did the amount Rs. 2900 work out (Entry for advance paid under Taking Input) i.e. following entry:

Input Service Tax 2800

Input KKC 100

To Max 2900

Pls clarify.

TOTAL ST=15000

20% ST ON ADVANCE=20%*15000=3000

BREAKUP OF THIS 2000

ST 2800(3000*14/15)

SBC 100 (2000*0.5)

KKC 100 (2000*.5)

TOTAL 3000

in this case,we will get input of 2900 as there is no input of SBC
