What is pasteurisation?

Sudden heating and cooling is called pasteurization

This prevents growth of microorganisms

 

Example

Pasteurized Milk is available in Market

The milk is heated to about 700C for 15 to 30 seconds and then suddenly chilled and stored

This milk can be consumed even without heating
