Who is Jobworker

A  Jobworker is a person who does manufacturing on some other person’s behalf

Sometimes, all the processes of manufacturing the final product are not done by manufacturers.

Some of the processes may be outsourced to some third party.

Such third party is called Jobworker

How is Jobwork Done

Goods are purchased by the manufacturer, received in his factory and later sent to jobworker. Jobworker does some work on it and sends the goods back to manufacturer.

Goods may be sent to jobworker directly also by the manufacturer without first receiving in the factory
