Difference Between GST Registration and GST Migration

This is applicable for

New Business getting registration for the first time

Or

Existing Business not yet Registered in Vat,Service Tax,Excise

 

This is applicable for Existing Business i.e. Business Already Registered in Vat,Service Tax,Excise

They have to apply for Fresh Registration

They have Received Provisional Id and password at their Vat,Service tax,Excise

They have to login using this password

 

What is GST  Enrollment

It is a common word which is used in case of both GST Migration and GST Registration

It can mean 

GST Registration for New Business

OR

GST Migration for Existing Business

 

What is GST Migration Last Date

GST Migration Last Date was 31 March 2017

However,it was extended to 30 April 2017
