Question 22 (A) Two dice are rolled together bearing numbers 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12. Find the probability that the product of numbers obtained is an odd numberTotal number of products = 6 × 6 = 36 Let’s find total number of cases Odd number can only be possible when both numbers are odd ∴ Number of odd products = 9 Now, Probability that product is odd = (𝑁𝑢𝑚𝑏𝑒𝑟 𝑜𝑓 𝑜𝑑𝑑 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑑𝑢𝑐𝑡𝑠)/(𝑇𝑜𝑡𝑎𝑙 𝑛𝑢𝑚𝑏𝑒𝑟 𝑜𝑓 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑑𝑢𝑐𝑡𝑠) = 9/36 = 𝟏/𝟒
