Rewrite the following sentence in passive voice:

A new bridge is being built across the river by them.

To rewrite the sentence in passive voice, we need to change the order and the form of the subject and the object of the sentence. We also need to use the verb “to be” and the past participle of the main verb. 📝
The subject of the sentence is they, who are the doers of the action. The object of the sentence is a new bridge, who is the receiver of the action. The main verb of the sentence is building, which is in the present continuous tense. 🙋‍♂️🌉🏗️
To change the order of the subject and the object, we need to put the object before the verb and the subject after the verb. We also need to add the preposition “by” before the subject to show the agent of the action. 🔄
