Example 8 If 1/8! + 1/9! = ( 𝑥 )/10! , find x . 1/8! + 1/9! = 𝑥/10! 10! (1/8! " + " 1/9!) = x 10!/8! + 10!/9! = x (10 × 9 × 8!)/8! + (10 × 9!)/9! = x 10 × 9 + 10 = x 90 + 10 = x 100 = x Hence, x = 100
