  1. Through the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), the Rural Job Guarantee Programme (REGP) assists qualified entrepreneurs in setting up village industry units that in turn generate employment opportunities in villages and small towns with a population of up to 20,000.

  2. With the help of KVIC's small financial support and loans from public sector scheduled commercial banks, particular regional cooperative banks, etc., for projects with a maximum cost of "25 lakh, entrepreneurs can create village industries under this program.
