Compare the east-flowing and the west-flowing rivers of the Peninsular plateau.

            West flowing rivers

East flowing rivers drained into the Bay of Bengal.

West flowing rivers drained into the Arabian Sea. 

They formed deltas 

They formed estuaries.

East-flowing rivers of India are  Mahanadi, Godavari,  Krishna, and Kaveri.

 

The West flowing rivers of India are Narmada, Luni,  Ghaggar, and Tapi.
