impairmen
t’,
Disability,
and
Handicap
are used when referring to a special child.
- An Impairment is a loss or abnormality of the body's structure or its function. For Example: Losing a limb in an accident
- A disability is a restriction to perform an activity in a manner considered normal for a human being.
- A handicap results from an impairment or disability that limits or prevents the fulfillment of a role that is normal of that individual.
- Disabled children are now called as children with special needs.
