Given, Distance = 20(√𝟑 + 1)m Time to fly = 2 seconds Now, Speed of bird = (𝐷𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑣𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑑 𝑖𝑛 30 𝑠𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑑𝑠)/(30 𝑠𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑑𝑠) = (20(√3 + 1))/2 m/s = 10(√𝟑 + 1) m/s = 10(√3 + 1) × (1 𝑚𝑒𝑡𝑒𝑟)/(1 𝑠𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑑) = 10(√3 + 1) × (𝟏 𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒓)/(𝟏/𝟔𝟎 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒖𝒕𝒆𝒔) = 10(√3 + 1) × 60/1 m/min = 600(√𝟑 + 1) m/min
