Robert Mugabe’s party violated the features in the following manners:

  • Elections were always won by ZANU-PF and Mugabe was elected as president.
  • His government changes the constitution several times to increase the power of the President and make him less accountable.
  • Opposition party was harassed.
  • Television and Radio were controlled by the government.
