As per the HDR 2020 , UNDP differentiates Sri Lanka and India on the following basis-

1. Per Capita Income is higher in Sri Lanka.
2. Gross Enrollment Ratio and literacy rate is higher in Sri Lanka.
3. Lower infant mortality rate in Sri Lanka.

Answer to be written

1. The per capita income of Sri Lanka is higher than that of India . The per capita income of India is about $6681 , whereas it is around $12,207 for Sri Lanka.
2. Life expectancy at birth in Sri Lanka is also higher as compared to India . The figures are 77 and 69.7 respectively.
3. Literacy rate in Sri Lanka is also higher at 10.6 whereas it stands at 6.5 in India.
