Do you think it is better to use compost instead of chemical fertilizers? Why?

 

Answer:

Yes , compost is a better alternative as compared to chemical fertilizers because:

  • Since it is formed by decomposing the waste material , it is eco-friendly.
  • It helps in properly managing the waste by recycling it.
  • The compost is highly nutritious for the plants.
  • Chemical fertilizers tend to harm the soil,   and also cause pollution which is the case of compost.
  • The production of compost is very easy and cheap and it can be carried out at our homes.
  • Manure generated from the compost is made by using the waste products , thus it reduces the amount of garbage in the environment and the end product can be used for something good.
  • Manure is more environment friendly as compared to chemical fertilizers.
