In India, rains occurs mainly in the monsoon season.

Sowing of crops depends upon the monsoon season in India.

While, excess of rain water may lead to many problems like

  1. It causes rise in the level of water in lakes and ponds which causes flood.
  2. Crops, villages, cities may get submerged in water.
  3. It may cause damage to Animals, Plants and Human life.
