Write any two properties of a magnet.

The properties of a magnet are as follows-

1. Like poles of a magnet attract each other , and unlike poles repel each other.

2. Magnets attract materials made up of magnetic materials.

    For example, iron, nickel. 

3. A freely suspended magnet always points in North-South direction.
