Along with air and water pollution, our cities are also under an attack of noise pollution Marriage processions, DJs during wedding receptions, loud music from neighborhood Nlats, etc, are all sources of noise which is not good for the old, the ailing and students. Subject : Raising Concerns about increasing noise pollution
Respected Madam/Sir,
1️⃣Through the column of your esteemed newspaper, I, Karan, would like to draw the attention of the concerned authorities towards the increasing problem of noise pollution in our locality.2️⃣The main sources of this noise pollution are the speakers used in wedding processions as well as the DJs at the late night parties held in our surrounding flats and 3️⃣the people who suffer the most from this are the elderly and people with certain heart ailments. Also, as the exam season is approaching, the students of the area are not able to concentrate on their studies which is causing a lot of stress to them. 4️⃣Certain ways in which this problem can be reduced is by imposing limits on the timings of DJs and playing them at a certain volume levels.
5️⃣I believe that it is high time that some strict action is taken against the culprits and I hope that the concerned authorities take this up as a priority as this is a matter of grave concern.
Thanking you
Yours truly,
Karan Sharma
