If the organisation of a cell is destroyed due to some physical or chemical influence, what will happen?
Answer:
Cell organelles are responsible for the organisation and proper functioning of a cell, as each of them perform some specific functions.
- If any of these organelles are destroyed , the functions of the cell such as respiration , excretion , nutrition etc. will be stopped and result in the death of the cell .
- Cell membrane is also directly responsible for maintaining the structure and integrity of a cell, and a damaged membrane leads to cell death .
