Areolar connective tissue
The areolar connective tissue is found between the skin and muscles, around blood vessels and nerves and in the bone marrow .
This tissue:
- Fills the space inside the organs
- Supports internal organs
- Helps in repair of tissues
Adipose tissue
- The fats in our body acts as an insulator ; thus keeping us warm
- For this the fats have to be stored in the body
- Fats are stored in adipose tissues with the cells filled with fat globules
- It is found below the skin and between internal organs
