How would you obtain clear water from a sample of muddy water?  

  

Answer:

  • Take a beaker and put maddy water in it. 
  • Allow it to stand for a few minutes.  
  • Take another beaker and put a funnel in it with a cone of filter paper. 
  • Pour the solution of the 1st beaker in it. 
  • We find that the clear solution of its beaker goes in the second beake r and mud particles stand on filter paper.
  • This process is known as filtration.
