How would you test the presence of starch in leaves? 

 

Answer:

For the test for the presence of starch in the leaves, take a leaf from a green plant and boil the leaf in water for a few minutes. 

Add a few drops of iodine solution on it. 

The leaf turns dark blue when starch is present.
