Symbiosis is a relationship between organisms who live together and share both shelter and nutrients.
Certain fungi live inside the roots of plants.
Plants provide nutrients to fungus and fungus provide water and certain other nutrients to plants.
Example - Lichens
- Lichen is an organism where Algae and Fungus live together.
- Algae contains Chlorophyll , and is thus able to prepare food via photosynthesis.
- Fungus provides Shelter, water and minerals to Algae.
