  • Copper T is an IUD ( Intrauterine contraceptive device ) which is inserted into the uterus by the doctor to prevent contraception (pregnancy).
  • It acts as spermicide , which means it kills the sperms.
  • It does not provide any barrier against the mixing of fluids. Hence, it cannot prevent STDs .
