NASTIC MOVEMENTS

1. Movement is due to stimulus and response is towards or away from the direction of the stimulus.

1. Movement is due to stimulus by the response is not towards or away from the stimulus.

2. The movement is more or less permanent.

2. The movement is temporary and  reversible.

3. Usually observed in stem and roots
