(i) Testis - To produce male sex cells called sperm and to secrete male sex hormone called testosterone.
(ii) Scrotum - To provide optimal temperature to testis for the formation of sperms.
(iii) Vas deferens - Transfers the sperm from the testis to the urinary bladder.
(iv) Prostate glands - Secretes fluids that provide nutrition to the sperms and also makes their further transport easier.
(b) Roles of Testosterone are:
- Regulates formation of sperms.
- Brings about the changes in boys during adolescence.
