Answer
Error | Correction | |
1 | on | (D) up |
2 | got | (B) get |
3 | by | (B) to |
4 | but | (C) so |
Explanation:
- On- ”On” is a preposition which usually tells about the position of an object/human which is situated or kept above a certain object and one gets ‘up’ in the morning and not ‘on’. So, the correct word is “up”.
- Got- With ‘had’ the first form (present) of the verb is used. So, the correct word is “get”.
- By- “By” is used when you cross a certain place on your way to a different destination but when you are talking about reaching the destination, ‘to’ is used. So, the correct word is “to”.
- But- “But” is used when one thing is done in place of the other or when the result is opposite of what you are expecting but when there is only one consequence (result) of the situation, which is already expected, ‘so’ is used. So, the correct word is “so”.
Thus, the correct paragraph is

are bad. Today, I got up very late. I
ran to bathe. Then I had to get ready
for My School. I ran to the Bus stop to
