Microwave is a

wireless communication technology which is used in
point-to-point communication

unicast communication
such as radar and satellite.
This type of transmission uses
high frequency( 1GHz - 300GHz.)
radio signals to transmit data through space.
They are
unidirectional
and provide a
very large information-carrying capacity.
Microwaves
cannot penetrate solid objects
such as walls, hills or mountains.
