People thought the writer was ‘either brave or very stupid’. Why did some people think that he was ‘very stupid’?
Answer
When people caught wind of idea that the writer may swim with tiger sharks as part of his assignment, they thought he was ‘either brave or very stupid’. He did not pay due attention to the fact that he was walking into danger without the required expertise. It was ‘very stupid’ because he was risking his life by putting himself in a situation where he may get attacked/bit by tiger sharks which were apex predators who are notoriously dangerous.
