Pranjol and Rajvir discuss their next vacation destination. They shortlist Coorg and Goa. Rajvir is keen on Coorg and tries to convince Pranjol. Develop a conversation between the two, based on your understanding of Glimpses of India.

Answer

Rajvir: Hey Pranjol! I think we should be visiting Coorg. It is a beautiful place with coffee plantations. I can smell the aroma already!

Pranjol: We visited a tea plantation last year, in Assam; I want to experience something different this time.

Rajvir: Coorg is the place to go then! There's more to Coorg than smelling coffee. It is rich in flora and fauna and rainforests. It would be a sight worth seeing. Sitting by Kaveri’s coast would be so refreshing.

Pranjol: That does sound interesting…

Rajvir: Besides, I think we all deserve some time away from the hustle bustle of the pandemic. It would be fun to do adventure sports like river rafting, rappelling, mountain biking…

Pranjol: I do love some sports but I was hoping for some calm and collected activity.

Rajvir: Ding ding ding! Coorg is the answer again!  It has beautiful natural walking trails and the Brahmagiri hills offer a panoramic view. I read that the place has the largest Tibetan settlement, so the environment will reflect peace and spirituality , I’m sure.

Pranjol: You can't be serious!

Rajvir: Coorg is culturally rich, the people there are brave and their hospitality is great. Some people in Coorg are the only ones allowed to keep firearms without license. It will be fun meeting such bravehearts.

Pranjol: I must say, you do present a fine case in favor of Coorg. Let's plan to leave next Wednesday?
