Why do we apply paint on iron articles?
Answer
- Painting an iron article prevents it from rusting .
- Paint acts as a barrier between the metal surface and the outside environment .
- Paint doesn't get oxidised , it further prevents oxidizing of the iron article .
- Thus preventing rusting/ corrosion .
