Liquids Conducting Electricity

Electricity is carried by electrons

Electricity is carried by positively and negatively charged ions

When electricity is passed through solid,no chemical change takes place

When electricity is passed through liquid, chemical changes takes place

(Example - Water is decomposed into hydrogen and oxygen gases)
